Dani Ball

An engineer and an artist, I'm obsessed with circular, equitable economies and the technologies and creativity that they necessitate.

At Slipstream, I research clean and efficient energy and HVAC technologies and develop programs to incentivize their deployment. I also create widgets and graphics that make building decarbonization slightly more intriguing.

Previously, I worked at an architecture firm integrating operational energy and embodied carbon modeling into existing project workflows. I also have worked with the Princeton Behavioral Science for Policy Lab analyzing sentiment towards renewables in different areas of the energy sector and for the Center for Climate and Security writing about climate impacts on national security in terms of resource scarcity and conflict escalation. I graduated from Princeton in 2022 with a degree in civil and environmental engineering and minors in energy technologies and cognitive science.

As an artist, I seek to juxtapose, to distill, and to make things that I enjoy making. Right now this site hosts some visual artwork and some written work. More sciencey and numbery things I've created are coming here soon :)
